The Builders for Christ Men's Fellowship of Central Kentucky is comprised of a group of Christian men of all ages from participating congregations in fellowship with the undenominational, independent Christian Churches and Churches of Christ of the Restoration Movement of Central Kentucky. The Central Kentucky area has a great appreciation for the Restoration Movement, with many of our congregations originating shortly following the Cane Ridge meeting in Paris, Kentucky, in 1801.
BFC meets on the 4th Monday evening of each month (except December) for an evening meal, followed by a time of worship and instruction from the Scripture and a short business meeting. Locations for meetings change from month to month as the meetings are generously hosted at various supporting Churches, which provide the meal for the evening. Our meeting times are consistent, beginning with a meal at 6:30 PM, followed by worship and instruction from the Scripture at 7:30 PM, and concluding with a short business meeting. A complete calendar of our meetings and events can be found on our "Events" page, as well as recordings of speakers from previous events.
Originally created as a means of encouragement for Christian men, and support in establishing new Church plants, the BFC have a longstanding history of investing time and resource in fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus' as presented in Matthew 28:18-20. Our group has provided support for a number of new Church plants, as well as scholarship assistance to young men preparing for ministry. Currently the BFC is entertaining a feasibility effort for a new Church plant in a neighboring county.
